There's A New Twitch Competitor In Town πŸ‘€

Will this new Twitch competitor steal creators?

Hey there! Say hello to a new Twitch competitor, a new YouTube feature, and a crazy hot take.

Let's get into it! πŸ‘‡

A New Twitch Competitor πŸ‘€

What happened? Twitch now has a new rival backed by content creator Tyler 'Trainwreck' Niknam called Kick. See Trainwreck's announcement here... πŸ‘‡

Is it worth it to stream on Kick? Well, they are offering a 95/5 subscriber revenue split. That's 95% to the creators and 5% to the platform. Compared to Twitch's 50/50, this is crazy high. They're also offering 100% platform tips for streamers. So, you decide.

Why does there seem to be animosity towards Kick? Some people are immediately turned off by Kick because it is owned by Stake, an online crypto gambling site that is banned in the US.

Our thoughts. Take advantage while you can. In 2021, Snapchat was giving creators $1 million per day to hop on the platform. Some creators made a fortune because they took advantage of this. When there is an opportunity this attractive, it makes sense to get in while you can!
