Making money is possible as a creator on all platforms.
Oh, hey there! This isn't a sports newsletter by any means, but last night there was an unprecedented event that occurred during the Monday Night Football game. We wanted to start today's Viral Post off by wishing Damar Hamlin a speedy recovery and asking that all 3,000+ readers please pray for him and his family.
A Quick Damar Hamlin Appreciation Post 🙌
Damar Hamlin's most recent post on Instagram is about his 3rd annual toy drive.

Making Moolah As A Creator In 2023 💸
Why is making money as a creator important?
Let's be real, money is important in general. It allows us to live comfortably, pay our bills, and maybe even splurge on the occasional fancy dinner or vacation. As a content creator, monetizing your work allows you to make a living doing what you love and not have to worry about financial stress.
But it's not just about being able to pay your rent. Making money as a content creator can also give you the freedom to take risks and try new things with your content. Look at MrBeast - spending $1,000,000+ per video. But we all aren't making that kind of money. But that doesn't mean it won't help you invest in better equipment, hire a team, or even just take a day off without worrying about the financial impact.
So, how do you make money on the many content platforms?
On YouTube, the Google AdSense program allows creators to run ads on their videos. To join the YouTube Partner Program, you must follow YouTube's channel monetization policies, live in a eligible country, have no active Community Guidelines strikes on your channel, have at least 4,000 valid public watch hours in the last 12 months, have more than 1,000 subscribers, and have a linked AdSense account. Additionally, established creators may receive capital based on the projected earnings of their videos.
Facebook offers several options for monetizing your videos, including Reels, in-stream video ads, fan subscriptions, branded content, and subscription groups. Reels can be monetized through ads, stars, and the Reels Bonus Program. In-stream ads on Facebook videos allow creators to earn money for each video view. Fan subscriptions allow viewers to pay a recurring fee to access exclusive content from a creator. Branded content is a collaboration between a creator and a brand, where the creator creates sponsored content for the brand and is paid for their work. Subscription groups allow creators to charge a fee for access to exclusive content and community within a group.
On TikTok, creators can monetize their videos through ads, donations, and the Creator Fund. To monetize through ads on TikTok, creators must have at least 1,000 followers and 4,000 views in the last 30 days. Donations can be made through TikTok's in-app currency, Diamonds. The Creator Fund is a financial support program for eligible creators in which TikTok pays a percentage of ad revenue to creators based on their content's performance.
On Instagram, creators can monetize their content through branded content, sponsored posts, and Instagram Shopping. Branded content is similar to Facebook's branded content, where a creator creates sponsored content for a brand and is paid for their work. Sponsored posts are paid posts that feature a product or service. Instagram Shopping allows creators to tag products in their posts and stories, allowing their followers to purchase those products directly through Instagram.
Any other ways to get this content creator bread?
In addition to native platform monetization, creators can also monetize their content through merchandise, sponsorships, and other opportunities. Merchandise includes physical products such as t-shirts and hats that feature a creator's brand or logo. Sponsorships are collaborations between a creator and a brand, where the brand pays the creator to promote their product or service. Other opportunities for monetization include speaking engagements, consulting, and teaching.
By carefully researching and utilizing the monetization methods available to you, you can turn your content creation into a full-time job.
