MrBeast Becomes The Most-Subscribed YouTuber πŸ†

MrBeast is now the most-subscribed YouTuber ever, surpassing PewDiePie with over 111.8M subscribers.

Hi. MrBeast is now the most-subscribed YouTuber ever, surpassing PewDiePie. Does it count since he has a 30 person team and PewDiePie is just one guy? I don't know, but it's EXTREMELY impressive, nonetheless!

Now, let's get into the good stuff! πŸ‘‡

MrBeast Becomes The Most-Subscribed YouTuber πŸ†

What happened? Earlier this year, MrBeast became the second YouTuber to ever reach 100 million subscribers, behind PewDiePie. Yesterday, he surpassed PewDiePie, becoming the most-subscribed YouTuber ever with over 111.8M subscribers.

How did he get to 111.8M subs? Let's take a look at MrBeast's journey... πŸ‘‡

  • 137 videos uploaded to reach 1K subs

  • 631 videos uploaded to reach 100K subs

  • 747 videos uploaded to reach 1M subs (after this, he deleted a lot of his old videos, so we couldn't get an accurate total uploads count)

  • 5 years (2017 - 2022) to go from 1M to 111.8M subs

  • 11 channels created during his 11 years on YouTube

What can we learn from MrBeast? Let's discuss what we can learn from someone who gets no less than 30M views per upload.

  1. Persistence is 100% necessary. MrBeast uploaded hundreds of videos over 4 years to get to his first 100K views. Most creators who try YouTube quit after they get no views on 3 videos. Don't be like them. It can get overwhelming logging onto YouTube and seeing views with hundreds of thousands (or millions) of views on your homepage.

  2. Don't be afraid to come up with crazy (borderline silly) ideas. Some of his most viewed videos include "Counting To 10000 In One Sitting," "2,256 Miles In One Uber Ride," "I Spent 24 Hours Straight In Slime," and even more wild videos. Go out of your comfort zone and try different ideas - no matter how silly they might seem.

  3. Be consistent and adapt. MrBeast consistently published A LOT of videos to get to where he is now, BUT they have not all be the same. His videos today are insane challenges with his fans and friends, like " Survive 100 Days In Circle, Win $500,000." 11 years ago, he was making gaming and life update videos. He's adapted to the YouTube algorithm and changed his content style as he grew.
