December's wave of challenges include:

Jemma Sbeg, an Australian psychology graduate, decided in 2021 that she wanted to create a podcast to apply the psychological concepts she had learned in school to the common issues faced by people in their 20s.

She didn't expect much because the top podcasts tend to stay at the top of the charts week after week. Unless you're a celebrity, Jemma thought that it was impossible to start a new, top podcast.

Jemma started by recording in the back of her Subaru and the podcast seemed to gaining little traction, with 15,000 downloads in the first 10 months.

But something changed in April, when she released an episode on loneliness that took off! She still doesn’t know exactly why. Listeners started going through her backlog of episodes and the show has since amassed 1.4 million downloads. It's currently sitting above big name podcasts like Anything Goes with Emma Chamberlain and Alex Cooper's Call Her Daddy.
