TikTok Creators Are Becoming TV Stars 🌟
NBC is sourcing TikTok creators as their next big TV show stars.
Hey there. Today we're talking TikTok TV stars, what to do about creator burnout, and an amazing creator framework that will have your viewers ACTUALLY watching your videos until the end.
Let's talk about it! 👇
From TikTok To TV Stars 🌟
What's happening? NBCUniversal launched a Creator Accelerator program to turn social media creators into the next generation of TV creators. The company has signed development deals with 11 social media creators who collectively have over 10 million followers. The program is a 12-month-long initiative with the goal of training these creators to make content for TV.
Who are the creators? The creators for this round of the program are Katie Florence (IG post above), Daren Girdner, Emily Uribe, Gabriella Carter, Reece Feldman, Charlie Curtis-Beard, Erika Priscilla, Vijay Nazareth, Sara Nahusenay, Francesca Fiorentini and Serena Kerrigan.

Why does this matter? This may be the start of major television networks sourcing social media stars for future television talent. And if this seems like something you would be interested in as a creator, there will surely be more classes of NBCUniversal's Creator Academy program.
Creator Burnout No More 🙅♂️
What happened? 4 months ago, popular gaming/comedy YouTuber, LaurenzSide, posted a video called I'm Not OK ...I’ll Come Back When I Am because she was mentally burnt out. She started the video with a quote, "If you don't make time for your wellness, you'll be forced to make time for your illness." This is unfortunately so true.
The worst part about burnout is that it doesn't care about your subscriber count - it can hit each and every content creator out there. That's why today we want to share some awesome tips for preventing burnout from full-time creators.
Writer Anna B. Yang says, "Because I can't "force" creativity, I give myself some wiggle room. If things don't go as planned, have some time built in to catch up.”
Shayla Price, the creator of PrimoStats, says, “I divide my tasks into multiple sub-tasks across several days. This method helps me avoid procrastination and the need to rush through my tasks. So, if I need to write a blog post, I'll draft a paragraph a day or focus on a specific section. It takes me longer to finish the task. However, the consistency ensures that I actually finish the task.”
Tori Dunlap, founder of HerFirst100k, says, “I find being present with people that I love is really helpful for me. I love opportunities where I can forget about work because, honestly, they're few and far between.”
Matt Parkin, the creator of Mornings with Matt, says, "Remember to set boundaries and know that most things can wait until tomorrow, so don't lose sleep trying to get everything done today.”
